Under the Consumer Rights Law, customers have 30 days to return goods that are faulty or broken.
Currys have recently had to change their returns policy from 48 hours to 30 days. This is due to the fact that it was contradicting the Consumer Rights Act. Under the Consumer Law, a customer has 30 days to return faulty goods for a full refund. After 30 days, customers are entitled to a repair or replacement of a fault product. In addition, if an item is bought online then the Consumer Contract Regulations gives customers extra protection. This also allows consumers to return goods within 14 days, even if they aren’t faulty.
