SAS Fire & Security system ceased trading the following year leaving the customer with an alarm system with no monitoring. Consumer Reclaim made a claim on behalf of the customer for a full refund. For the period from when sas ceased to provide the monitoring. Barclaycard rejected the claim. Consumer reclaim referred the claim to the Financial Ombudsman service resulting in Barclaycard refunding the customer £4,721.31.
