Another result due to the perseverance of the Consumer Reclaim team. Our client received an initial offer of a goodwill gesture of approx. £1,600 only. We advised our client that this was not appropriate and referred our client’s file to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Initially, our client received an improved offer of circa £4,000. We persevered as we again didn’t think this was appropriate given the level of mis-selling and the issues our client was experiencing with their PV system. Thanks to the perseverance of the Consumer Reclaim team our client eventually received an offer of a loan reduction of approx. £2,600, a refund of over £4,100 and a £300 payment for the trouble and upset caused. Additionally, our client also received a new inverter for their system and over £2,000 value of repair work, conducted by an accredit company.
