Consumer Reclaim negotiate settlement of 80% of purchase price

Mr N from Birmingham purchased a 3.5kW Solar PV system from Genius Energy in 2012. Mr N paid £8049.28 and paid for it all with his HSBC Master Card. Consumer Reclaims experts proved that the system was not performing in line with the projections given at the point of sale and was poorly installed. Our legal team managed to negotiate a settlement of 80% of the purchase price, £6439, as compensation. Mr N has kept the system and is still receiving his FIT payments and savings.
